4. i saw bridesmaids over the weekend. i should probably state, for the record, that i was pretty hungover when i saw it, and that, the day after a night of drinklets, i am generally pretty quick to laugh (or cry, or go from zero to the crankiest person you've ever met, in a matter of seconds). that being said, this movie nearly made me choke on my own laughter more than a handful of times. i honestly can't remember the last time a movie made me laugh so hard and so much. perfect hangover remedy..
5. puces pop/pop montreal is hosting a small business seminar for artists and designers called lil biz that sounds pretty neat. topics to be covered include: photographing your art/products, marketing, funding/grants/loans, accounting, generating/manifesting ideas. i've already taken a small business course elsewhere but the speakers at this seminar sound substantially cooler than the ones i had. plus it's on $30 so even if you just learn one new thing, it'll be worth it.
