1. the people at junkaholique who made these curtains are kind of my heroes.
2. when i first saw this print, i thought the triangles were waves that represented the ocean. they're actually mountains. not that it matters, i love it either way.
3. make-up isn't really my thing. i don't wear much of it, i don't know much about it, i don't generally care. but this photo... this made me stop and say: "oh! pretty make-up!".
4. i like this idea of drawing on old book pages. i feel a little badly for the authors of the books but... whatever... life's tough sometimes.

l'automne.
"l'automne est un deuxième printemps où chaque feuille est une fleur." - albert camus
(autumn is a second spring where every leaf is a flower)
musical OCD: sarah harmer.
revisiting this album today.
always loved the line: "i'm a mountain like you said to be".

musical OCD: danielle ate the sandwich.
it's a party in the USA over at my house right now. except that i'm not in the USA... and i'm the only person at the party. but yeah, otherwise, total party in the USA.
close/closer/closest.
do you ever think about what it would be like if everyone you loved lived in the same city as you?
i do that all the time.
my mom & paps.
my brother & his family.
dano & mark.
rob & laurie.
matt, seb, ollie & my kristy.
my favourite cousins.
nadia & bryan.
my mom's friends.
and the friends i already live close to, of course.
sometimes, i imagine us all living on the same block.
i also imagine us having block parties.
it's kind of ridiculous how happy the thought of this makes me.

that's kristy on the left, rockin' the stripped leg/armwarmer combo,
and you know it's a party when carly's bustin' out her favourite turquoise leggings.
nadia needed something to jazz up her outfit so i lent her my yellow belt
...and i was so stinkin' excited that i forgot my shoes at home. again.
