it's an excerpt from a 1988 TV special that cinemax did on roy orbison, and features bruce sprinsteen, elvis costello, bonnie raitt, KD lang, and a whole slew of other talented musicians in the backing band.
this fucking song. i could fall to my knees and weep for every sad thing that has or will ever happen in the world. every single time i hear it. on that happy note, enjoy!
