saturday faves.

1- yesterday morning, i was coming in from outside when the doorbell rang.  normally, i'd answer it but i've been so stinkin' busy this week and i wasn't expecting anyone so i was just like: "screw it".  as it turns out, it was the mailman (who found his way in somehow) with a special delivery!  my awesomely sweet friend, kristy, sent me this book:

thank you so much, kristina ruth!  i love you and miss you oh so much.  i'm going to move on now before i turn into a snotty-nosed, puffy-eyed mess.


2-  tea cup clock?  yes, please!

3- identifying your pines cones has never been easier thanks to the texas forest service.

4- love the hair on these two.  simple but bold.
