whenever i come back from my folks' place, i bring back a car load of stuff.  this time it included this beautiful dress.  it belonged to my good friend/bandmate/ex-boyfriend's mum.  she was an amazing lady, and she had great style.

i can't zip it up at the back because i'm bigger and chestier than she was but i'd like to have it altered so i can wear it at some point.  it's too beautiful to just hang in a closet.

i wanted to take a picture of it for the blog and ended up having a mini photo shoot with myself.

i also brought back this little teapot i got for my mom when i was a kid.  at the time, in my kid mind, we were the bunnies.

...and these little, wooden chairs (there's a table too).  my grandpa got them for me when i was 2 years old.

please excuse the mess.  i've gone craft-crazy over here.
